Los Angeles 2000

LA 2000LA2000: The Site for the Los Angeles Millennium Show - December 31st, 1999 at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum and Sports Arena. Let the fireworks begin!

December 31, 1999. The Turn of the Millennium. The (perceived) eve of the 21st Century. What will you be doing? The same thing you do every New Year's Eve? Something new? Something incredible and awe-inspiring?

"The Los Angeles Millennium Show" will be an event not to be missed. Taking place outdoors at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and Sports Arena, this event will draw the entire population of Southern California. The event is made up of several pieces; The Festival, The Show, and The Parties.

The Festival is a street festival that takes place from 8:00pm to 10:30pm on the grounds around the Coliseum. There will be several stages that will showcase performers from the Los Angeles area. Many groups from singers to dance troupes to comics will be performing on the stages to delight the crowds. There will also be several exhibits mounted by our sponsors to introduce their latest and greatest products for the new millennium. Food of all types will also be available throughout the festival.

The Show will be 1 1/2 hour non-stop audio/visual extravaganza hosted by some of the top names in the entertainment industry, ending with one of the largest and longest fireworks and laser displays this country has ever seen.

The Parties take place before and after the show. Before the show, the west and north surrounds of the Coliseum will house many tents to be used as private parties for our sponsor companies. Sponsors can use these tents for dinner, dancing, and / or presentations for their VIP employees or customers. After the show Sponsors can again invite their VIP's to join them for dancing until dawn.

Also after the midnight fireworks show, the Sports Arena will be turned into a dance hall with "music and lights extraordinaire" for dancing and partying until dawn for a separate admission.

Party 2000

Wealth Warning: After six years of pre-production, in the development of the biggest concert, party and 1999 New Year's Eve Celebration, owners of Party 2000 have decided to literally give the production away to any person, or company, who have the financial resources for an event of this magnitude, or, call it quits.

This announcement came within days after Party 2000 ran in to a snag with the 5000 acres it was to acquisition for the event, and, the diminishing funds required to hold such an event.

Party 2000®: will be held in Southern California, on nearly 4,500 acres of land, to Officially bring in the Turn of the Century. This "tremendous event", which went into development 5 years ago, expects an attendance of 2.5 million people from around the World.

PARTY 2000® is being billed as "The Biggest Concert, Party and New Years Eve Celebration ever held on Planet Earth"TM. It's Three Day agenda includes the Worlds Top Name Bands and Entertainment on Five of the Largest Stages ever built for a one time event.

Booking of Bands will begin in October 1998, and, Party 2000 is going after them all, like: Metallica, Pearl Jam, Kenny G, Rolling Stones, TLC, Michael Jackson, U2 and others. Entertainment, for the Party 2000 Audience, is planned to go Non-Stop, 24 hours a day, for all three days.
